Overview
Until the early 1900s, Ek Balam was inhabited by the Mayan People. Interestingly, about 95% of the place is still in its original form. The largest temple in the region, with very detailed carvings and paintings, is located here. It is speculated that this ruin is special and has similarities with the modern-day temple session/operation. We aim to make your tour more of a local traditional Mayan experience by involving you with local Mayan people. During the ruins visit, you will have the van exclusively for your family, making the experience very private and intimate. Lunch and cenote trip included.
